Rubbn'Repair is a formable adhesive patch that mends holes and damage to bumpers, fenders, body panels, hoods and more. Heated to about 194 °F, the material becomes flexible and moldable to any repair surface. As it cools, it becomes rigid again and retains the new shape. At operating temperatures, the material is rigid and strong.
Unlike racing tape, Rubbn'Repair is a structural composite material. It won't delaminate at racing speeds, it restores aerodynamic shape, and it can even replace broken or missing material.
Patches can be kept heated in a specially designed heater bag in the pit and ready to use as soon as the car comes in. The material can be reheated multiple times until adhered. It's as simple as heat it, stick it, mold it... and go.
Originally developed for NASA and made out of a "shape memory" composite material, this all-¬weather patch molds easily over a repair site, then becomes rigid as it cools, forming a strong, structural repair in seconds. Rubbn'Repair holds tightly to the damaged site with a reliable, high-¬performance adhesive.
Note: Rubbn'Repair is intended for temporary repairs
